Employing staff

We work as a closely knit, supportive team and work with volunteer and salaried staff

We have an accreditation Licence  as a Living Wage Employer which means that anyone employed

by us will receive at least the real Living Wage  

​

Everyone that works with us is encouraged to participate in open discussion and decision making.

We believe that every role is equally important.

 

Like minded partnerships

We aim to source our goods, and services from like-minded organisations and companies

 

those that reflect on the important things in life – those that have a ‘spirit of goodness’ about them.

 

Sourcing services, goods and materials

 

Wherever possible we will support our local makers, tutors and businesses that supply us with locally made products and services

 

Wherever possible we will buy organic, fairtrade and sustainable products and ingredients for the items we produce ourselves.

 

Environmental conscience

 

We will endeavour to operate in an environmentally aware and sustainable way

We will take advice to improve and work towards the governments Nett Zero targets

 

Wherever possible we will buy products that are environmentally friendly and use suppliers that are environmentally aware.

 

We will look for renewable, sustainable, biodegradable products wherever possible.

 

We will avoid waste and reuse and recycle wherever we can.

 

We will dispose of waste produced through providing our services in an environmentally responsible way.
